LOOK NO FURTHER FOR DELICIOUS AND AFFORDABLE MEXICAN FOOD! I'm from SoCal, and when I moved up here it was really hard to find a Mexican food place that I enjoyed as much as the ones down south. I've got to say Lopez Taqueria is what you are looking for, I get their super burrito and it's SUPER DELICIOUS. My husband and I usually split one burrito because it's pretty large and their portions are generous. I don't go anywhere else anymore and they are conveniently located around me . The staff is very friendly and always willing to accommodate any special requests, even when I order on doordash/uber eats. They aren't stingy about their salsas or limes, but sometimes you do have to ask for extras which is no problem. The ambiance is pretty chill, it's a nice sit down place where you can also enjoy a beer with your meal. Usually I take it to go because we enjoy eating at home.
One of my favorite Mexican food places hands down. Food is great, service is fast and friendly and plenty of seating both inside and outside. The parking lot fills up quickly at lunch time but there are plenty of parking on the side streets. My favorite is the wet fish/shrimp burrito with either green or red sauce. The portion is generous and food tastes great. They are so good that I keep ordering them every time I came until last time I finally tried the Al pastor super burrito and it was great as well. There are quite a few choices on their menu, I hope to try other items soon.
The food here is good & the service is good too! I had the Al pastor super burrito, and they give you green and red salsa bottles, which I packed a ton of on my burrito. The ambiance was also nice, it was clean & small but still a good amount of indoor seating. There seemed to be a lot of Hispanic people, which further emphasizes how good of a spot this is.
No frills tacos and burrito. Friendly staff. Indoor and outdoor seating areas and pretty fast service. Small parking lot in shared shopping center as well as street parking nearby. Big fan of the tacos as well as the shrimp burrito!
This was my first time making it here because I was hungry and it was close to my house. The fish taco bombed me; it was so good. The regular taco was good as well. The meat was juicy and in a good amount for me, I think. The staff is nice and friendly, and the food is good. I will definitely come back!
How can you tell a Mexican restaurant Has good food? One clear sign is that there are a lot of Mexicans eating there. I visited Lopez Taqueria, the only other people there were Mexicans eating and working there. I could tell it was a local spot, a hidden gym for people who know where the good food is. The service was quick and efficient, the server bring our food within 20 minutes. The spot is not very large, but has a homey feel with very simple adornments and seating for not more than 50 people at a time. I'd recommend getting food to go, especially considering outdoor seating as limited and we are just about to start the rainy season. The California burrito that I had was nice and toasty, full of delicious goodness, but the steak was just a little overdone. The portion size was huge, allowing me to eat lunch and save the rest for dinner. I'll definitely be back again.
Located not too far from Downtown Sunnyvale, parking spots are few but availability is good. There's a good mix of indoor and outdoor seating. Super quesadilla carne asada (4/5): the tortilla was crispy. Cheese was good but could've used a bit more to help keep everything together. The meat was tender and juicy. Tap to pay is accepted. Overall, the food is so yummy and the service was pretty good too.
Solid taco shop, tons of options, eat in or outside, clean and friendly!l service. Food was amazing, great flavors. French fries in the burrito threw me.
